Vladimir Putin recently made comments on the seriousness of global conflicts that can lead to nuclear conflict. Patriots worldwide should pay close attention as the globalists build their dangerous nuclear arsenal.
In stark contrast to attempts in numerous western countries to stifle free speech online, Russian President Vladimir Putin defended Internet freedom during a conference...
A prominent Swedish lawmaker asserts that Hungarian billionaire George Soros's influence on European politics and policies make him "one of the most dangerous men,"
I have my doubts whether the Putin-Biden summit in Geneva will take place later this month, but even if somehow it is pulled off, recent Biden Administration blunders mean the chance anything of substance will be achieved is virtually nil.
The Biden Administration was supposed to signal a return of the “adults” to the room. No more bully Trump telling NATO it’s useless, ripping up international climate treaties, and threatening to remove troops from the Middle East and beyond. US foreign policy would again flourish under the steady, practiced hands of the experts.
Then Biden blurted out in a television interview that President Putin was a killer with no soul. Then US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discovered the hard way that his Chinese counterparts were in no mood to be lectured on an “international rules-based order” that is routinely flouted by Washington.
It’s going to be a rough ten days for President Biden. Just as news breaks that under the Obama/Biden Administration the US was routinely and illegally spying on its European allies, he is preparing to meet those same allies, first at the G7 summit in England on June 11-13 and then at the June 14th NATO meeting in Brussels.
Make no mistake, Joe Biden is up to his eyeballs in this scandal. Ed Snowden Tweeted late last month when news broke that the US teamed up with the Danes to spy on the rest of Europe, that “Biden is well-prepared to answer for this when he soon visits Europe since, of course, he was deeply involved in this scandal the first time around.”
Though Germany’s Merkel and France’s Macron have been loyal US lapdogs, the revelation of how Washington treats its allies has put them in the rare position of having to criticize Washington. “Outrageous” and “unacceptable” are how they responded to the news.
Russia has been routinely accused (without evidence) of malign conduct and interference in internal US affairs, but it turns out that the country actually doing the spying and meddling was the US all along – and against its own allies!
Surely this irony is not lost on Putin.
Biden has bragged in the US media that he would be taking Putin to task for Russia’s treatment of political dissidents like Alexei Navalny. Biden wrote recently in the Washington Post, that when he meets Putin, “I will again underscore the commitment of the United States, Europe and like-minded democracies to stand up for human rights and dignity."
Perhaps President Putin will remind him of how the Biden Administration continues the slow-motion murder of Julian Assange for the non-crime of being a journalist exposing government misdeeds.
Perhaps Putin will remind Biden of how US political dissidents are being treated, such as the hundreds arrested for what the Democrats and the mainstream media laughably call the “January 6th Insurrection.” Many of these non-violent and unarmed protesters have been held in solitary confinement with no chance of bail, even though they have no prior arrests or convictions. Most await trial on minor charges that may not even take place until next year.
The Washington foreign policy establishment is hopelessly corrupt. The weaponization of the US dollar to bring the rest of the world to heel is backfiring. Only a serious change in course – toward non-interventionism and non-aggression – can avert a disaster. Time is running out.
The unknown that lays ahead for
all of us is both exhilarating and scary. Exhilarating in the long term,
but rather scary in the short term. All empires eventually die and
we’re in the terminal phase of the New World Order that will not recover
from the Russian roulette game it has been playing, for Vladimir Putin
handed it a loaded gun and it pulled the trigger.
The last few weeks put everything
in place for the last battle. There are so many different facts and
events, left and right, and I will try to do my best to remain
methodical in this complicated expose. Bare with me, I’ve been
struggling for three weeks with this article because of the insane
amount of additional details that each day provides. It might have been a
wrong time to quit smoking, but I enjoy a good challenge.
Dropping dollars
A little context is required. The
New World Order concept is simply the wish of a handful of international
bankers that want to economically and politically rule the whole planet
as one happy family. It started in 1773 and if it went through
important changes over the years, but the concept and objective haven’t
changed an iota. Unfortunately for them, international banks that have
been looting the planet through the US dollar since 1944 are now
threatened by hyperinflation, as their printing machine has been
rotating for years to cover their absurd spendings to sustain oil and
resource wars that they’ve all ultimately lost. In order to prevent this
upcoming hyperinflation, they generated a virus attack on four
countries (China, Iran, Italy and now the United States) to spread panic
in the population, with the precious help of their ignominious medias.
Even though this corona virus isn’t different from any new viruses that
attack humans every year, the media scare pushed people to voluntarily
isolate themselves through fear and terror. Some lost their jobs,
companies are going bankrupt, the panic created a stock exchange crash
that emptied wallets and dried assets, resulting in a few trillion
virtual dollars off the market to release pressure off the currency.
So far, so good, but everything
else went wrong in this desperate and ultimate banzai. The top
virologist on the planet confirmed that chloroquine was being used by
the Chinese with spectacular results to cure patients, then he improved
his magic potion by adding a pneumonic antibacterial called
azythromicin, and saved everyone of his first 1000 cases, but one.
Donald Trump immediately imposed the same treatment through a fight
against his own Federal Drug Administration, bought and owned by the
deep state. This forced all medias to talk about Dr Didier Raoult’s
Miracle Elixir, signing the death warrant on our confidence in all
Western governments, their medical agencies, the World Health
Organization, and medias that were trying to destroy the impeccable
doctor’s reputation, while inventing sudden «dangerous side effects» of a
nearly inoffensive drug that has been used for 60 years to treat
malaria. Not so far away in Germany, internationally praised Dr Wolfgand
Wodarg noted that the engineered panic was totally useless, since this
virus isn’t any different than the others that affect us every years.
This has been an amazing victory for Trump and the general population on
social medias, whom exposed together the pathological lies of the
official communication channels of every New World Order country. De
facto, the credibility’s of these puppet governments have vanished in
the air, and from the eye of the storm, Italy will surely exit the EU
right after the crisis, which will trigger a domino effect running
through every EU countries and NATO members. My friends, globalism is
dead and ready for cremation.
Digging the abyss
International bankers couldn’t see
it coming in 1991, when they dominated 95% of the planet after the fall
of the Soviet Union. It seemed that nothing could halt their ultimate
mission to complete their Orwellian dream: destroy a few countries in
the Middle East, enlarge Israel, and get the total control over the
world oil market, the last piece of their Xanadu puzzle that they’ve
been working on for a whole century, starting with the Balfour
declaration in 1917.
When Vladimir Putin got charge of
Russia, there was no sign that he would do better than the drunk he had
replaced. An ex KGB officer seemed like a choice more driven by
nostalgia rather than ideology, but Putin had many more assets going for
him than first met the eyes: patriotism, humanism, a sense of justice,
cunning ruse, a genius economist friend named Sergey Glazyev whom openly
despised the New World Order, but above all, he embodied the
reincarnation of the long lost Russian ideology of total political and
economical independence. After a few years spent at draining the Russian
swamp from the oligarchs and mafiosis that his stumbling predecessor
had left in his trail of empty bottles, Vlad rolled his sleeves and got
to work.
Because his opponents had been
looting the planet for 250 years through colonization insured by a
military dominance, Vlad knew that he had to start by building an
invincible military machine. And he did. He came up with different types
of hypersonic missiles that can’t be stopped, the best defensive
systems on the planet, the best electronic jamming systems, and the best
planes. Then to make sure that a nuclear war wouldn’t be an option, he
came up with stuff which nightmares are made of, such as the Sarmat, the
Poseidon and the Avangard, all unstoppable and able to destroy any
country in a matter of a few hours.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, center, gestures while speaking during an annual meeting with top military officials in the National Defense Control Center in Moscow, December 24, 2019. Putin said that Russia is the only country in the world that has hypersonic weapons even though its military spending is a fraction of the U.S. military budget. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, left, and Chief of General Staff of Russia Valery Gerasimov, right, attend the meeting.
With a new and unmatched arsenal,
he could proceed to defeat any NATO force or any of its proxies, as he
did starting in September 2015 in Syria. He proved to every country that
independence from the NWO banking system was now a matter of choice.
Putin not only won the Syrian war, but he won the support of many New
World Order countries that suddenly switched sides upon realizing how
invincible Russia had become. On a diplomatic level, it also got mighty
China by its side, and then managed to protect independent oil producers
such as Venezuela and Iran, while leaders like Erdogan of Turkey and
Muhammad Ben Salman of Saudi Arabia decided to side with Russia, who
isn’t holding the best poker hand, but the whole deck of cards.
Ending in the conclusion that
Putin now controls the all-mighty oil market, the unavoidable energy
resource that lubricates economies and armies, while the banksters’ NATO
can only watch, without any means to get it back. With the unbelievable
results that Putin has been getting in the last five years, the New
World Order suddenly looks like a house of cards about to crumble. The
Empire of Banks has been terminally ill for five years, but it’s now on
morphine, barely realizing what’s going on.
Tragedy and hope
Since there is no hope in starting
WW3 which is lost in advance, the last banzai came out of the bushes in
the shape of a virus and the ensuing media creation of a fake pandemic.
The main focus was to avoid a catastrophic hyperinflation of the
humongous mass of US dollar that no one wants anymore, to have time to
implement their virtual world crypto-currency, as if the chronically
failing bankers still have any legitimacy to keep controlling our money
supplies. It seemed at first that the plan could work. That’s when Vlad
took out his revolver to start the Russian roulette game and bankers
blew their brains out upon the pressure on the trigger.
He called a meeting with OPEP and
killed the price of oil by refusing to lower Russia’s production, taking
the barrel to under 30 dollars. Without any afterthought and certainly
even less remorse, Vlad killed the costly Western oil production. All
the dollars that had been taken out of the market had to be re-injected
by the Fed and other central banks to avoid a downslide and the final
disaster. By now, our dear bankers are out of solutions.
In the meantime, Trump also poked
at the tie-wearing gangsters. While medias avoided the corona-killing
chloroquine subject, an old pill designed to cure malaria, Trump imposed
to the FDA the use of this life-saving drug on US infected patients.
Medias didn’t have any choice but to start talking about it, which
ignited a chain reaction: big pharmas CEO’s were fired because they had
just lost the vaccine contract, countries like Canada looked like
genocidal fools for not using the cheap and inoffensive medication,
while a most outrageous criminal act by a government was exposed in full
light: the Macron government had proclaimed in January 2020 that
chloroquine was harmful and had restrained its use, just a couple of
weeks before the burst of the fake pandemic! Russian roulette is a
popular game in Western governments these days around.
On Saturday March 28th, Russia
announced its own corona-killing brew, based on Dr Raoult’s magic
potion. Yet another Cossack blow, this time to the big pharmas jugular
vein, while most Western countries now have to implement the good
doctor’s treatment, or face the slap of a Russian pill coming to save
its citizen. Putin is in the lifesaving business these days: in the last
week of March, he sent 15 military planes filled with doctors and
supplies directly to North Italy, after an aid plane from China was
blocked by the Czech Republic. We’re about to learn that European
countries fear that China or Russia finds the truth in the Lombardy
region, where people are not dying from some corona bug, but probably
from a deadly cocktail hybrid from two earlier vaccines for meningitis
and influenza, that they were injected in separate vaccination
campaigns.
The punchline
I said earlier that everyday
brings amazing news. Well on Sunday March 29th, the most stunning of
them all fell like a ton of bricks on social medias: confined onlookers
learned that Trump had taken control over the Federal Reserve, that is
now handled by two representatives of the Treasury of State. Of all the
crazy news within the last month, this is by far the best and most
shocking. After three years in power, Trump has finally fulfilled his
electoral promise of taking private banks out of the US public affairs,
ending a century of exploitation of the American citizens. He has put
the infamous Blackrock investment group to start buying important
corporations for the Fed, meaning that he’s nationalizing chunks of the
economy, while avoiding the crash of the market by implicating important
private investors in the deal.
President Donald Trump gestures with Jerome Powell, his nominee to become chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve at the White House in Washington, U.S., November 2, 2017
This outmost daring move comes at a
crucial point in time, and faces us with the realization that Vladimir
Putin and Donald Trump are united and have taken humanity to the
crossroads of the New World Order and freedom. As I have stated often
before, I thought that the world would deeply change between 2020 and
2024, because these would be the last 4 years of these two heroes in
political power of their nations.
The New World Order is facing the
two most powerful countries on the planet, and this fake pandemic
changed everything. It showed how desperate the banksters are, and if we
don’t want to end up with nuclear warheads flying in both directions,
Putin and Trump have to stop them now.
Terminate the BIS, the World Bank,
the IMF, the European Central bank, the EU, NATO, now. Our world won’t
be perfect, but it might get much better soon.
Easter resurrection is coming. This might get biblical.
On this episode of Going Underground, we speak to the new Russian
Ambassador to the UK Andrei Kelin. He discusses Russia-NATO relations
and the rising tensions of NATO positioning soldiers and armaments along
Russia’s borders; the reasons for poor UK-Russia relations historically
and why the Russia-UK relationship has held despite this; the impact of
Brexit and Scottish nationalism in weakening the UK’s global standing
compared to Russia’s and allegations of Russian interference in the
Brexit referendum and cyber attacks.
He also discusses allegations of
Russia aiding the US-UK trade talk leaks on the NHS presented by Jeremy
Corbyn, alleged Russian assistance to Boris Johnson, the collapse of the
INF Treaty and the Iran Nuclear Deal (JCPOA) and more!
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A Finnish political economist and
author highlighted predicaments of nations that refused to adopt
strategies of resistance against US unilateralism, saying Ukraine, for
instance, became “the poorest” country in Europe after succumbing to
Washington’s bullying.
“Look
at Ukraine; they succumbed to USA bullying and propaganda and now their
country has become the poorest in Europe although it used to be the
industrial powerhouse of the Soviet Union,” Jon Hellevig said in an
interview with the Tasnim News Agency.
“And look at Germany,
France, and the whole European Union. Subjugated to the USA, they are
being ruined with a stagnant economy for more than a decade and deep
social and cultural crises,” he added.
Jon Krister Hellevig is
a Finnish lawyer and businessman who has worked in Russia since the
early 1990s. Hellevig was a candidate in the European parliament
election in 2014. He is the managing partner of the Moscow-based law
company Hellevig, Klein & Usov. Hellevig has written several books,
including Avenir Guide to Russian Taxes (2002, 2003, 2006 English and
Russian editions); Avenir Guide to Labor Laws (2002, 2003, 2006 English
and Russian editions). Expressions and Interpretations, a book on the
philosophy of law and the development of Russian legal practices;
Hellevig takes actively part in public discussion of current affairs and
social structure contributing with articles and commentary in the
media. He regularly lectures at international seminars on various
topics.
Following is the full text of the interview:
Tasnim:
International developments are full of examples of how regional and
trans-regional countries have successfully adopted strategies of
resistance against oppression and unilateralism that have borne good
results. As you know, countries like Iran, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, and
Palestine have protected their national sovereignty against foreign
threats and achieved many gains through this strategy. In contrast, some
countries have adopted a strategy of appeasement or reconciliation when
being hectored and bullied by world powers. Given the experiences of
these resistance countries, what do you think about their approach and
the concept of resistance?
Hellevig:
Naturally, resistance is the only choice, come what comes. At the same
time, the resistance strategy must be smart and strive to build bridges
to other countries outside the enemy. Tasnim: Do you think
countries that currently toe the line of major powers like the US ought
to emulate these experiences of resistance countries to protect their
independence and stand against unilateralism?
Hellevig:
Obviously they should. It’s a question of both the material and moral
well-being of the people and their very existence in the long-term. Look
at Ukraine; they succumbed to USA bullying and propaganda and now their
country has become the poorest in Europe although it used to be the
industrial powerhouse of the Soviet Union. And look at Germany, France,
and the whole European Union. Subjugated to the USA, they are being
ruined with a stagnant economy for more than a decade and deep social
and cultural crises. The traditional way of life of those European
countries is rapidly being destroyed with their social structures torn
apart. In fact, the very existence of those nations is now at risk.
Tasnim:
In an op-ed article written for Tasnim, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme
National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, warned the European countries
of the risks of inaction regarding the US administration’s unilateral
policies, saying the current EU leaders will be held accountable for
Europe’s future challenges. Shamkhani criticized Europe for becoming an
unimportant and passive actor that accepts humiliation at the hands of
the US and has to live with the destructive effects of Washington’s
unilateralism that have affected several international treaties. What is
your take on that? Isn’t it better for the EU to stand up to US
bullying and unilateralism?
Hellevig:
The European Union and its main constituent countries are not
independent nations as they have been taken over by US-led globalists.
Their armies belong to the US umbrella organization NATO, their
intelligence services are CIA branches, their media is owned by the
globalists, their capitalists are totally at the mercy of the US market
and its bullying terms, etc. Given these circumstances,
independent-minded politicians do not have a chance to come to power,
not in the individual states nor the totally undemocratic European
Union.
The problems are fortunately building up in the European
Union and with President Trump’s erratic policies the relationship is
becoming increasingly fraught. But things must get much worse before the
European people will mature to free themselves from the globalist yoke.
I am afraid, it will take an enormous financial and economic crisis to
bring that about. But this crisis will come for sure, sooner or later.
Paradoxically, an attack on Iran might be the final trigger for that.
And this is what holds the Americans at bay from Iran, at least for the
time being. On the other hand, the US economy is so bad with enormous
asset bubbles in every field of the economy, stock markets, housing
etc., massive budget and trade deficits and skyrocketing debt.
Therefore, there might be some people in the USA who could possibly
consider war and ensuing financial crisis as a means to extract the
country from those problems, to let everything crash and start the
global economy anew from ground zero.
The Trump-Putin meeting in Japan is crucial for both leaders—and for the world.
Despite determined attempts in Washington to sabotage such a “summit,” as I reported previously,
President Trump and Russian President Putin are still scheduled to meet
at the G-20 gathering in Japan this week. Iran will be at the top of
their agenda. The Trump administration seems determined to wage cold,
possibly even hot, war against the Islamic Republic, while for Moscow,
as emphasized by the Kremlin’s national security adviser, Nikolai Patrushev, on June 25, “Iran has been and will be an ally and partner of ours.”
Indeed, the importance of Iran (along with China) to Russia can
hardly be overstated. Among other reasons, as the West’s military
alliance encroaches ever more along Russia’s western borders, Iran is a
large, vital non-NATO neighbor. Still more, Teheran has done nothing to
incite Russia’s own millions of Muslim citizens against Moscow. Well
before Trump, powerful forces in Washington have long sought to project
Iran as America’s primary enemy in the Middle East, but for Moscow it is
a necessary “ally and partner.”
In normal political circumstances, Trump and Putin could
probably diminish any potential US-Russian conflict over Iran—and the
one still brewing in Syria as well. But both leaders come to the summit
with related political problems at home. For Trump, they are the
unproven but persistent allegations of “Russiagate.” For Putin, they are
economic.
As I have also previously explained,
while there was fairly traditional “meddling,” there was no “Russian
attack” on the 2016 American presidential election. But for many
mainstream American commentators, including the editorial page editor of The Washington Post,
it is an “obvious truth” and likely to happen again in 2020, adding
ominously that Trump is still “cozying up to the chief perpetrator,
Russian President Vladimir Putin.” A New York Times columnist goes further,
insisting that Russia “helped to throw the election” to Trump. Again,
there is no evidence whatsoever for these allegations. Also consider the
ongoing assault on Attorney General William Barr,
whose current investigation into the origins of “Russiagate” threatens
to conclude that the scandal originated not with Russia but with US
intelligence agencies under President Obama, in particular with the CIA
under John Brennan.
We should therefore not be surprised, despite possible
positive national security results of the Trump-Putin summit in Japan,
if the US president is again widely accused of “treason,” as he so
shamefully was following his meeting with Putin in Helsinki in July
2018, and as I protested at that time. Even the Times’
once-dignified columnist pages thundered, “Trump, Treasonous Traitor”
and “Putin’s Lackey,” while senior US senators, Democrat and Republican
alike, did much the same.
Putin’s domestic problem, on the other hand, is economic and
social. Russia’s annual growth rate is barely 2 percent, real wages are
declining, popular protests against officialdom’s historically endemic
corruption are on the rise, and Putin’s approval rating, while still
high, is declining. A public dispute between two of Putin’s advisers has
broken out over what to do. On the one side is Alexei Kudrin, the
leading monetarist who has long warned against using billions of dollars
in Russia’s “rainy day” funds to spur investment and economic growth.
On the other is Sergei Glaziev, a kind of Keynesian, FDR New Dealer who
has no less persistently urged investing these funds in new domestic
infrastructure that would, he argues, result in rapid economic growth.
During his nearly 20 years as Kremlin leader, Putin has generally sided with the “rainy day” monetarists. But on June 20, during his annual television call-in event,
he suddenly, and elliptically, remarked that even Kudrin “has been
drifting towards” Glaziev. Not surprisingly, many Russian commentators
think this means that Putin himself is now “leaning toward Glaziev.” If
so, it is another reason why Putin has no interest in waging cold war
with the United States—why he wants instead, indeed even needs, a
historic, long-term détente.
It seems unlikely that President Trump or any of the
advisers currently around him understand this important struggle—and it
is a struggle—unfolding in the Russian policy elite. But if Trump wants a
major détente (or “cooperation,” as he has termed it) with Russia,
anyone who cares about international security and about the well-being
of the Russian people should support him in this pursuit. Especially at
this moment, when we are told by the director of the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research that “the risks of the use of nuclear weapons…are higher now than at any time since World War Two.”

My Musings on Georgia's Anti-Russian antics by Prof. Vladimir Golstein
We know that
politicians play their games and use their strategies, smokescreens, and
spinning to get what they want. If Russophobia pays, why not use it?
That's what they do in Poland, and Ukraine, and United Kingdom, and
Baltic States. If it works for local consumption only, fine.
Russian government probably uses it too -- what's the best way to unite
the nation than to show that it is under siege. So I am not surprised
that Russian press milks the images of angry Georgians for their own purposes.
But both sides, while pursuing their myopic political goals are playing
with the national feelings of Russians, something that I find
unacceptable.
With the sloppy way perestroika was accomplished,
Russians felt utterly humiliated. Just few facts for those who have
neither memory, nor understanding.
1991, and then again in 1998
--The collapse of the ruble, which twice wiped out all people's savings.
People with say, comfortable 10 thousand rubles on their accounts
(which was a price of a good car) ended up with $20 bill for that. Then
New Chechen war and its losses.
1998. 80% of Russian farms went
bankrupt. 70 thousand factories closed. Epidemic of unemployment. 72 mil
Russians (half of the country) fell below the poverty line.
In
2006 Russian government estimated that that there were 715 thousand
homeless kids, while UNISEF raised this number to 3 mil. Suicide rate
doubled, violent crime rate increased fourfold, and consumption of
alcohol doubled in comparison with the Soviet period.
1999. NATO
bombs the hell out of Serbia, and all Russians can do is to watch it in
helpless anger, Eltsin's excursion into Pristina notwithstanding.
Add to that a total change in ethnic make up of Russian cities, where
all of the sudden all the markets belong to Azeris, plenty of other
businesses are run by Chechens and Georgians, and so on. Yet, Russians
just stoically put up with that, like a chained bear, continue to
swallow the baiting, that comes both from these ethnic minorities inside
the country, and outside it.
People who die at sixty with zero
money to their name have to hear that they are occupants, that they are
slaves, pigs, soviet deplorables, and all other crap that the
westernized liberals along with assorted nationalists from Ukraine,
Georgia or Estonia, keep on throwing at them.
What should be
truly surprising is that there are so few ethnic and other sorts riots.
Any other powerful group, would be rioting non stop. Luckily, the
economics has improved since then, and plenty of Russians can feel
justifiable proud of what their country has accomplished. Yet, the
sense of national insult, national humiliation has remained. At least
among the people who've survived these awful years.
So if
Georgians or any other fool wants to play with fire, let them. But I
don't recommend it. Pushkin had warned the authorities of a Russian
revolt: senseless and merciless, long time ago.
Near the United Nations Glass Palace in New York, there is a metallic sculpture entitled “Evil Defeated by Good”, representing Saint George transfixing a dragon with his lance. It was donated by the USSR in 1990 to celebrate the INF Treaty concluded with the USA in 1987, which banned land-based short- and mid-range nuclear missiles (a reach of between 500 and 5,000 km). Symbolically, the body of the dragon is in fact made with pieces of US Pershing-2 ballistic missiles (originally based in West Germany) and Soviet SS-20 missiles (originally based in the USSR).
But the nuclear dragon, which in the sculpture is shown as dying, is now being reborn. Thanks to Italy and other countries of the European Union, which, at the United Nations General Assembly, voted against the resolution presented by Russia on the “Preservation and Implementation of the INF Treaty”, rejected by 46 to 43 with 78 abstentions.
The European Union – of which 21 of its 27 members are part of NATO (including the United Kingdom, which is currently leaving the EU) – has thus taken a uniform stance with the position of NATO, which in turn has taken a uniform stance with that of the United States.
Source: PandoraTV
The Obama administration first, followed by the Trump administration, have accused Russia, without any proof, of experimenting with a missile from the forbidden category, and have announced their intention of withdrawing from the INF Treaty. At the same time, they have launched a programme aimed at renewing the installation of nuclear missiles in Europe to guard against Russia, while others will also be based in the Asia-Pacific region against China.
The Russian representative at the UN has warned that “this constitutes the beginning of a full-blown arms race”. In other words, he warned that if the United States should once again install in Europe nuclear missiles pointed at Russia (as were the Cruise missiles based in Comiso in the 1980’s), Russia would once again install, on its own territory, similar weapons pointed at targets in Europe (but which would be unable to reach the USA).
Ignoring all that, the EU representative at the UNO accused Russia of sabotaging the INF Treaty, and announced the opposition vote by all the countries of the Union because “the resolution presented by Russia avoids the question under discussion”.
Essentially, therefore, the European Union has given the green light to the possible installation of new US missiles in Europe, including Italy.
On a question of this importance, the Conte government, like its predecessors, has abandoned the exercise of national sovereignty and aligned itself with the EU, which, has in turn adopted the position of NATO, under US command. And across the entire political arc, not one voice has been raised to request that it should be the Parliament which decides how to vote at the UNO. And similarly, no voice has been raised in Parliament to request that Italy observe the Non-Proliferation Treaty, which requires that the USA must withdraw its B61 nuclear bombs from our national territory, and must also abstain from installing here, as from the first half of 2020, the new and even more dangerous B61-12’s.
So this is a new violation of the fundamental constitutional principle that “sovereignty belongs to the people”. And since the politico-media apparatus swaddles Italians in the ignorance of these questions of such vital importance, it is also a violation of our right to information, not only in the sense of the freedom to inform, but also the right to be informed.
We must do this now, or else tomorrow there will be no time to decide – a mid-range ballistic missile can reach and destroy its target with its nuclear warhead in between 6 and 11 minutes.
Earlier in the
day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that he did not rule
out the possibility that the issue of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear
Forces (INF) Treaty would be addressed at the upcoming talks between
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump.
NATO
Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said after the NATO-Russia Council
(NRC) meeting in Brussels on Wednesday that the alliance was ready
to continue a dialogue on the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF)
Treaty with Russia.
"Allies and Russia… shared views on the
Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty," NATO said in a
statement following the NRC meeting.
In addition, Stoltenberg noted that all allies agreed that the INF treaty has been crucial to Euro-Atlantic security.
"We all agree that the INF Treaty has been
crucial to Euro-Atlantic security… Allies urge Russia again… to ensure
full compliance with the INF Treaty without delay. While we stand ready
to continue dialogue on this issue with Russia, as an Alliance we are
also committed to take effective measures to continue to ensure the
safety and security of all Allies," Stoltenberg said.
Russia,
on its part, said that INF treaty is important as a factor
in maintaining European and global stability, Permanent Mission to NATO
noted.
The NATO-Russia Council, which brings together the 29 Allies and
Russia, met in Brussels on Wednesday to exchange views on a wide range
of topics, including issues related to military activities, reciprocal
transparency and risk reduction; the situation in and around Ukraine;
Afghanistan; and hybrid challenges. According to the statement released
by NATO press service, NATO and Russia provided briefings on major
exercises "in the spirit of transparency."
The council was established on May 28, 2002 and was effectively
suspended by the alliance in 2014-2016 over the situation in Ukraine.
The latest NATO-Russia Council meeting was held in late May at NATO
headquarters in Brussels.
Mr. Lucas, Don’t Take Your Readers for Fools! by Prof. Vladimir Golstein
So Edward Lucas, the columnist at The Times, the long time contributor to the notoriously Russophobic Economist and the author of 2008 The New Cold War: Putin’s Russia and the Threat to the West, where he fully exhibits his own paranoia about the dangers of Putin’s Russia, has came up with a new theological and cultural diagnosis.
Paranoia is the religion of Putin’s Russia. Not communism, not
capitalism, not Orthodoxy, not atheism. Just plain old paranoia.
Why, and how? Argument number #1 is that RT has put him on the list
of ten top Russophobes. Lucas’ complaint: the list is haphazard and
flimsy. Fine, any list is haphazard and flimsy – it just points to some
people or organizations that like to come up with ridiculous charges and
accusations, not dissimilar from his own “academic” investigations. So
what? Having never produced anything academic himself, Mr. Lucas can’t
expect any academic study from RT, can he?
Argument #2. Mr. Lucas had found an academic study to his liking — Ilya Yablokov’s Fortress Russia
— that discovered that Russian conspiracy theorists, who were on the
margins in the 1990s have come to the forefront in the current
situation. Yablokov has studied Russian TV and found its style paranoid.
Yablokov’s conclusion: the US is a paranoid Empire to be sure, but
mainstream TV does not usually cater to it, as opposed to the mainstream
Russian TV. Maybe, even though CNN and Fox would surely provide serious
competition.
Without any desire to defend the rather combative style of Russian TV
talk shows where guests clash, fight, and play the roles assigned to
them by the hosts, I am certain that these shows do address real foreign
policy concerns. Any detached observer looking at the map and seeing
NATO bases all around Russia is bound to ask questions. Any detached
observer listening to Western news and hearing the endless bacchanalia
of Russia this, Russia that, is bound to get nervous. Any detached
observer, having witnessed endless the West’s bombing campaigns, wars,
invasions, regime changes, mass migrations and destruction, is bound to
get a bit edgy about western intentions. And it would not be paranoia.
It would be plain common sense.
And what about Russian history? Hasn’t the country been invaded again
and again throughout its history? The latest invasion, that of Nazi
Germany, is still remembered by all Russians, since one can hardly find a
family that did not lose someone in that awful war. Last time Germans
and Ukrainians got together, my relatives were brutally murdered in
Kiev, mowed downed – along with thousands others in Babi Yar. So even
living in the United States, I do get nervous when Ukrainians, helped by
their European admirers, burn people in Odessa. Genetic memory is a
stubborn thing, you know. So can you really blame Russians for getting a
bit anxious about the events in Ukraine, Mr. Lucas, or as the happy
denizen of the murderous British Empire, that one that killed, burned,
shot, and starved others, you can’t imagine what fears of prosecution
are actually all about?
Wait a minute, says Mr. Lucas. “German Unification, EU and NATO
enlargement, Ukrainian independence”: These recent events on the borders
of Russia — are haphazard. There never was a master plan. Well, if it
looks like a duck, and acts like a duck, it has to be a duck. In fact,
there are rarely master plans for anything, unless we are talking about
Hillary’s campaign to justify her spectacular loss of 2016 presidential
campaign. What we’re witnessing, however, is the plain old confluence of
interests and appetites that results in wars, sanctions and invasions.
Just read some basic history, Mr. Lucas, before you present yourself as
the heroic conspiracy theories slayer.
Argument # 3. Russians do a lot of mischief to themselves:
corruption, bribes, oligarchs. That’s for sure. But so what? Russian
corruption is bad, and one hopes that Russians will get rid of it. But
it does not mean there are no countries that want to invade and loot the
place, and squeeze away local oligarchs. Even paranoid people have
enemies, as the maxim goes. There’s plenty to steal in Russia. Do you
think, Mr. Lucas, that western oligarchs want to leave it all to
Russians? Don’t underestimate your own sponsors. They don’t like it.
Furthermore, oligarchs and corruption are rampart in Great Britain
and US, and still these countries are running on paranoia and arming
themselves to the teeth. And what about Poland, the Baltic States,
Ukraine – the countries that do indeed thrive on paranoia? But their
paranoia fits western narratives, so it’s “our kind of paranoia.” As
opposed to Russian paranoia, which is obviously a wrong kind of
paranoia. What about the paranoia of the trigger-happy Israel, which
manifests itself in endless violence and military excursions against its
neighbours? So Israel has Judaism for religion, Poles have Catholicism,
but Russians have Paranoia. A strange doctrine, and new.
And then, Lucas totally reverses himself, and says – that the west
should not stoke Russia’s siege mentality by a military build up on its
borders and endless provocations. Finally! Lucas dares to rise to the
occasion and criticize the West … but we rapidly learn why. This
righteous indignation is provoked by Trump’s and Bolton’s proposal to
withdraw from the INF treaty. But even this criticism is turned on its
head. This new arms race is bad, because it will help Russia to “crack
down, lash out and make it look more important than it is.”
In other words, NATO countries should not place their war-heads in
Roumania or Poland, they should not claim that they could actually win a
nuclear war (something that only American theoreticians, including
former Secretary of Defense, Ash Carter, do) – they should not do any of
those things because these actions will make Russians think that they
are more important than they are. That would be a really dangerous case
of paranoia. Much more dangerous than the destruction of life on earth
as we know it.
But Lucas does not stop there; playing the role of Candide must be
way too enjoyable. He claims that compiling the list of “Russophobes” is
a “childish bad habit” – never mind the Magnitsky list, nor plenty of
other lists compiled by the State Department, the Mueller investigation,
social media police and numerous other western outlets, whose endless
lists still can’t satisfy the lust for more and more sanctions against
more and more individuals. Those lists are the sign of profound
maturity, no doubt.
And in a true demagogic fashion, Lucas concludes: we’ve been paying
too much attention to “nasty but grand Russians.” We should celebrate
Russia’s “colossal contribution to world culture.” Oh, so Russia is
important after all. How refreshing. Let’s wipe Russia off the map with
nukes, and then enjoy Russian ballet at Covent Garden or Russian novels
in their BBC adaptations.
America has been at war to transfer control of Syria over to the Saud
family, who own Saudi Arabia; and America has been trying to do this
ever since the first of the CIA’s coups against Syria failed in 1949. But only during the U.S. Presidency of Barack Obama did the United Nations become a tool in this American enterprise.
Obama entered the White House in 2009
secretly hoping to be able to overthrow Syria’s Government; and when
the CIA-assisted “Arab Spring” uprisings in the Arab world started
flowering in 2011, the U.S. Government had the important U.N. operatives
fully on-board assisting the U.S. Government to assist this overthrow —
to hand Syria to the Sauds (the Sauds being America’s most important international ally, and the world’s richest family) to control.
By the time of June 2011, the Obama State Department, under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, was already deep into planning the overthrow
not only of Syria’s Government (planning the international recruitment
of jihadists to do that), but of Ukraine’s Government (planning
international recruitment of nazis to do that).
Although the common view is that America’s main allies are European, that viewpoint is no longer true. Today’s America is allied mainly with the Sauds,
and with Israel, which latter is the Sauds’ chief lobbying arm both in
North America and in Europe, because Christian-majority populations are
far more sympathetic to Jews than to Moslems. For a politician to be
publicly sympathetic to Jews is much better for a politician than for
him/her to be publicly sympathetic to Muslims. So, Israel carries the
Sauds’ lobbying water, not only their own.
Follow Up — The Continued Blackout on West’s Secret Training & Support Camp in Turkey for War on Syria
12 days ago, on November 21, here at Boiling Frogs Post, I reported
on the ongoing joint US-NATO secret training camp in the US air force
base in Incirlik, Turkey, which began operations in April-May 2011 to
organize and expand the dissident base in Syria. I had received the
information for that story from multiple sources including highly
credible insiders in Turkey and government insiders here in the US…
I immediately started checking our infamous US mainstream media sites
— still nothing on this significant information. I then contacted one
of my high-level sources and asked why he had come to me with his
documented report instead of going directly to the big guys. With
several credible insiders as his corroborators and a high-level official
in Turkey, he would have no problem getting their attention. And his
response? Well here it is minus a few expletives:
Who said we didn’t go to MSM [Main Stream Media] first?
We got them the info back in October. First they were interested and
drooling. At least the reporters. Then, they disappeared.”
I was the last resort. … This goes down as one more example of very
many cases of intentional, willful censorship by the US mainstream media
and their so-many-times-proven role as distorters of reality and
gravediggers of the truth.
Keeping the “MSM” on-board was likewise something that went back as far as the CIA’s “Operation Mockingbird”
had started in 1948 with the cooperation of all of the United States’
mainstream ‘news’-media, and of virtually all of the ‘alternative’
news-media.
The case against the latter, the ‘alternative’ media, was documented by Stuart Jeanne Bramhall here and here; and by me here;
with both of us relying heavily upon the encyclopedic researches from
Bob Feldman, who is the major historian of the corruptness of almost all
of America’s ‘progressive’ ‘news’ media — the present medium being
obviously among the few exceptions that actually is progressive, and
this article is simultaneously distributed to all media, so all media
have been invited to publish it.
The corruptness of self-declared conservative ‘news’-media is
virtually automatic, since their chief function is to aggrandize the
aristocracy — doing that is what defines them; they are clearly doing
what they are paid to do, whereas the non-conservative media need to use
subterfuges to do it, in order for them to seem to be supportive of the
poor, which conservative media don’t even pretend to support.
Trump to U.N.: "We Reject the Ideology of Globalism"
Right and left, America’s ‘news’-media are loaded with rot —
especially regarding foreign countries, including Syria. Here are a few CIA documents from 2012 showing how obsequiously American ‘journalists’ respect and adhere to their CIA minders.
Aristocrats everywhere do business internationally and have much more
of a personal interest in foreign relations than does the average
person; so, lying about international relations is especially important
to them, in order to control the masses on these matters, matters which
aristocrats are especially determined to control. The aristocracy are
the people who determine which nations are “allies” and which nations
are “enemies.” The public don’t control that.
This is why the CIA, which is an agency of the U.S. aristocracy, has at least all of the mainstream ‘news’-media trumpeting their lies
on foreign affairs. Aristocrats control their country’s foreign
policies. Their international corporations demand this control, and tell
the politicians what to do in foreign matters. The ‘news’-media provide
the back-up for the politicians’ lies.
They’re all on the same team, the aristocracy’s team.
They all are agents for the aristocracy, against the public — and not
only against whichever foreign aristocracies are labeled “enemy”
nations (i.e., as being suitable targets for the given aristocracy’s
military — places where the U.S. aristocracy’s weapons-manufacturing
corporations such as Lockheed Martin don’t sell their wares but instead
upon which those wares are to be used, as targets, the opposite end of
the international weapons-trade from the “allies,” which are the
markets-side, instead of the targets-side).
International relations is relations between aristocracies. The publics are ignored.
So, if democracy exists anywhere or at all, then it exists only in
regards to domestic issues. However, studies have shown that even on
domestic issues, the U.S. Government ignores the U.S. public — the U.S.
is totally an aristocracy; it’s no democracy at all, not even on domestic issues, such as Medicare-for-all.
That’s the reason why Sibel Edmonds found herself to be a “last
resort.” That was a euphemism referring actually to a dead-end for the
important news — for the type of news that would have contradicted the
Obama Administration’s infamous joyous lie-based “We came, we saw, he died!” (the Libya case), and now the follow-on invasion and destruction of Syria.
Trump continues Obama’s aggressions; he doesn’t end them. It doesn’t
make much difference whom the occupant of the White House is, at least
not regarding foreign relations, because the same aristocracy remains in
control of U.S. foreign relations, even though that might be a
different faction of this aristocracy — Obama representing the liberal
billionaires, and Trump representing some of the conservative ones, but
they are different segments of the same aristocracy; nobody in such a
Government represents the public.
Here’s how psychopathic the U.S.-and allied aristocracies are:
Both were there using their being heads-of-state so as to assist not
only their own wealth but America’s and Europe’s aristocracies to steal
and sell oil and oil-well equipment from the Syrian public — from
Syrians’ Government — for the benefits not only of those aristocrats but
also of Al Qaeda and of ISIS (two jihadist groups trying to overthrow
Syria’s Government).
As Syrian News reported this, on 28 November 2012, “Emir of Qatar & Muslim Brotherhood Prime Minister of Turkey send their Al Qaeda FSA
terrorists to Syria to destroy the country, kill the people and destroy
whatever they can of its infrastructure so their companies would have
jobs in the future to rebuild as they think they will win the war
against Syria.”
Syrians stood by each oppressed nation in the planet, all liberation
movements from the colonial powers had their main offices in Syria,
including South African anti-apartheid party…this is how the colonial
powers revenge.
It is beyond kafkaesque to
realize that virtually the entire world chants its enmity against the
Syrian people, and their country, and that the rest have not even
noticed.
On 2 September, “greatest psy op of the last century,” al Jazeera,
degraded a photo of a drowned Syrian boy, into an emoticon, to use for a
new round of imperial malfeasance against the SAR [that being an
acronym for Syria’s Government]. It seems to be of no importance, that
al Jazeera (renamed “al Khanzeera,” “the pigsty,” by Libyan patriots,
during the destruction of their country), is owned by the absolute
monarchy Qatar — “pronounced ‘gutter’”), the little Gulfie gas station
that has spent over 3 billion dollars in looting and bombing Syria.
Twenty-four hours later, a Google search of “drowned Syrian boy”
yielded over 10 million ‘hits’ (a number which has jumped to over 14
million, 48 hours later), reports which neglect to mention there was no
Syrian refugee crisis before the mass-murderers of the colonial powers,
and their Levant and Gulfie rabid dogs decided to “arab spring” Syria…
On Sunday, 23 August, the city of Damascus came under massive mortar and missile attacks
by the Obama-Cameron moderate death squads. Seven days later, the
Syrian Arab Army [Syrian Government’s Army] Facebook page posted the
following:
“The city of Damascus had 4.5 to 5 million inhabitants in 2011. Today
and due to the war there are over 8.5 million inhabitants in the city;
most of which were forced outside of their homes by the “moderate
rebels” backed by NATO in general specifically the U.S. Turkey and
France; also backedand financed by the terrorist nations of the Gulf…
The cacaphony of murderous silence
among the Vichy [nazi] media and sham activists and NGOs [charities
that are funded by U.S.-and-allied aristocracies] has increased,
exponentially, in perverse rhyme, with the increase in the bombings of
the villages of Kafraya and al Foua,
in Idlib countryside. In mid-August, the Syrians of these villages had
been the beneficiaries of more than 1,500 missile attacks — from moderate rebel mass murderers — that have destroyed 60% of their houses… The punishment of the Syrian people for refusing the Obama plan of
regime change cannot be missed in this organized ongoing assault by NATO
and stooges for the past 4.5 years…
The globalist deep state hyenas have reached a new low in delirious
frenzy against Syria. While screaming international law! they flaunt
[flout] it, and flaunt their insatiable lust for Syrian blood. The mania
of the terrorists in suits is so out of control that they appear to
have abandoned their chemical conspiracy planned for Idlib. Instead, they scream in unison for the preservation of serial killers occupying eastern Ghouta.
Savages they would call by rightful names in western countries are
converted to innocent women and children [in Western media]. These
hyenas ignore more than 1,000 terrorist mortars and missiles fired by
Ghouta terrorists into Damascus. They hold the Goebbels Big Lie proudly
over their heads, knowing their elite club is one of destruction, that
none of its members will speak the truth… The deep state hyenas introduced the foreign-armed, foreign-paid, and
foreign takfiri [jihadists] of al Ghouta onto the world stage in August
2013. The stupid, inbred, savages accidentally slaughtered many of
their own, and thus ratted out having been given chemical weapons by Prince Bandar, because he neglected to give them proper instruction on their use.
The admission was of no matter to the perpetual warriors, including Nobel Peace Laureate cum war criminal, POTUS Obama. Nor was concern voiced by the humanitarian bastards
that several of the dead Syrians were recognized as having been
kidnapped in Latakia countryside (similarly, the hyenas were too sedated
to report on the moment long awaited, when 58 Syrian women and their children abductees were released in exchange for imprisoned terrorists of al Qaeda)…
On 21 February, UN High Commissioner on Human Rights [sic] Zeid Ra’ad
al Husseini frothed at the mouth over the “monstrous annihilation” in
Eastern Ghouta. He tossed words like international humanitarian law,
and war crimes about [against the Government].
That article has a lengthy section which opens:
THE UN: HYENAS LEADERSHIP
Animals running in packs require leadership. Who is better qualified
to lead beasts known to take advantage of other animals’ kills for easy
prey, devouring every part including bones, than the well-manicured and
polished diplomats of the United Nations?
All of that is true, and it even understates the reality. For
example, though the article documents that Jordan, next door to Syria,
is a key part of America’s effort to overthrow Assad, it fails to note
that Zeid Ra’ad al Husseini, that cited high U.N. official on Syria, is a
Jordanian Prince.
He’s doing what the royal family of Jordan do. Otherwise, that article
is an excellent description of the U.N.
Administration’s extreme
prejudices in favor of the U.S. game-plans for conquest, especially for
their conquest of Syria.
In possession of a diplomatic telegram [TD], Pan Arabic al Akhbar gave a detailed report 24 February on the nefarious, colonialist plot:
In a somewhat familiar but precise English, Benjamin Norman – a
diplomat in charge of the Middle East at the British Embassy in
Washington – reports in a confidential diplomatic telegram of the first
meeting of the “Small American Group on Syria” (United States, Great
Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and Jordan), held in Washington on January
11, 2018.
In this five-page TD, he reveals the details of the “Western
strategy” in Syria: partition of the country, sabotage of Sochi, framing
of Turkey and instructions to the UN Special Representative Staffan de
Mistura who leads the negotiations of Geneva. A Non Paper (8 pages)
accompanies this TD in anticipation of the second meeting of the “Small
Group”. It was held in Paris on January 23, mainly devoted to the use of
chemical weapons and the “instructions” sent by the “Small American
Group” to Staffan de Mistura.
The U.N. envoy for Syria warned Friday that all the
ingredients exist for a “perfect storm” of a humanitarian catastrophe if
the Syrian government, backed by Russia, carries out a large-scale
military offensive on the northwestern province of Idlib.
“The dangers are profound that any battle for Idlib could be — would
be — a horrific and bloody battle,” Staffan de Mistura told U.N.
Security Council members via videoconference. “Civilians are its
potential victims.”
Idlib has consistently been showing as being, by far, the
most-pro-jihadist of all of Syria’s Governates, in the annual polls that
the British polling organization, Orb International, has taken since
2014, throughout Syria. Idlib has been showing there as being over 90%
in favor of jihadists and of jihadism — and specifically in favor of
organizations such as Al Qaeda and ISIS.
Staffan de Mistura and Prince Husseini refer to this matter as
instead a “humanitarian catastrophe” if Syria, Russia, and Hezbollah, do
what they will need to do in order to end the invasion of Syria by
U.S., Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE, Kuwait, and Israel (and the jihadists
they hire).
The U.N. officials are treating this matter not as a thoroughly
illegal invasion and military occupation of the sovereign nation of
Syria, but instead as what will be a “humanitarian catastrophe” if Syria
and its allies attack the area of Syria whose current residents are
over 90% jihadists and supporters of jihadists. Syria and its allies are
to be blamed for invading that jihadist cauldron, while U.S. and its
allies are to be held immune from prosecution for their having used
those jihadists, during the past 7 years — used them to invade and
occupy not only Idlib but other parts of Syria.
Thus, the U.N. is not only holding U.S. Presidents and other
international invaders above international law, but it is now positively
assisting them under the fake rubric of “humanitarian” concerns, so as
to support the U.S. alliance’s invasions and military occupations. The
U.N., which was supposed to have been opposing international aggression
is now assisting it when ‘the right leaders’ do it.
This is no organization supporting democracy — it is the opposite: an
international scheme to back the U.S. alliance’s invasions and military
occupations. War is ugly. Apparently, the U.N. has become even uglier
than that — supporting the invaders and military occupiers of a
sovereign nation.
This is the reason why Syria and its allies have placed on-hold
their planned elimination of the jihadists in Idlib and will create a
DMZ between Idlib and the adjoining areas of Syria. Further details and
context on that can be seen here. Perhaps now, the high U.N. officials who have been claiming that the elimination of those jihadists would produce a “humanitarian catastrophe” will change their tunes and publicly acknowledge that it would instead be a practical necessity.
