A senior Israeli official
has admitted that Russia's delivery of S-300 anti-aircraft missile
defense systems to Damascus will pose a serious "challenge" to the
regime.
Tensions have been rising between Moscow and Tel Aviv following the downing of a Russian warplane in Syria this month.
The official, whose name was not released in the Sunday report by the
Times of Israel, said Tel Aviv was working on "different ways" to deal
with Russia's recent move.
“The S-300 is a complex challenge for ... Israel. We are dealing with
the [decision] in different ways, not necessarily by preventing
shipment [of the anti-aircraft systems],” he said.
The official said Israel enjoyed the US support and reserved the right to protect itself, without elaboration.
"[Russian President Vladimir] Putin made a move, but it's a big playing field and he understands that," the official said.
Moscow vowed to bolster Syria’s air defense capabilities by sending
modern S-300 surface-to-air missile systems to the Arab country within
two weeks after the recent accidental downing of a Russian Il-20
reconnaissance aircraft.
Netanyahu told Putin in a phone conversation that Israel "will continue to do what it has to do to defend itself."
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday Russia has already
started delivering the S-300 system to Syria as part of efforts to
ensure the safety of Russian forces in the Arab country.
The Russian plane with 15 servicemen on board disappeared from radars
on September 17 as four Israeli F-16 warplanes were attacking state
institutions in Syria’s Latakia Province, which is home to Russia-run
Hmeimim airbase.
Russia’s Defense Ministry held Israel responsible for the incident,
saying the regime’s warplanes “created a dangerous situation” that led
to the downing of the Russian aircraft by Syria’s S-200 missile defense
system.
Israel frequently attacks military targets in Syria in what is
considered as an attempt to prop up militant groups that have been
suffering heavy defeats against Syrian government forces.
As the Syrian army clears
swathes of the country from the control of foreign-backed terrorists,
there are signs on the horizon that some countries who were previously
lending support to those terrorists have come to grips with reality that
the Syrian government is going to be there for the foreseeable future
and are accordingly changing course from hostility to recognizing the
sovereignty of Damascus.
In the latest development, the foreign minister of Bahrain’s Bahraini
Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa has
been seen in a friendly encounter with his Syrian counterpart, Walid
al-Muallem, at headquarters of the United Nations on the sidelines of
the 73rd annual meeting of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The video shows the rare encounter between the two ministers, who
hugged each other, shook hands and exchanged a few works as other
officials from both countries were watching the scene.
The encounter was the first of its kind since the Syrian crisis erupted in 2011.
The development is notable as Bahrain was one of those countries who
voted to freeze Syria’s membership at the Arab League in Cairo after
which, many Arab countries also recalled their ambassadors from
Damascus.
Another factor that makes the encounter one-of-a-kind is that
Bahrain, which has been also faced with an uprising by the country’s
Shia majority since 2011, owes its survival to Saudi Arabia’s help,
which send forces to the tiny Persian Gulf monarchy to suppress Bahraini
protesters. As a result, Manama has so far served as a Saudi stooge to
promote Riyadh’s political agenda on various fronds, including by
funding and abetting terrorist operations against the legitimate
government of Syria.
It is no secret that Saudi Arabia has spared neither effort nor money
in helping foreign-backed militancy in the war-ravaged Syria and
Bahrain, as one of its close allies, has been a tool in its grand plan
to topple the Syrian government.
Virtually all of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council states
supported various militant groups in Syrian over the past years. In
recent years, however, this unity has diminished and states’ priorities
have changed. Those countries that have invested the most in the Syrian
conflict, namely Saudi Arabia and Qatar, have fallen apart. The current
splits between Riyadh and Doha seem durable.
Other countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab
Emirates (UAE), have toned down their rhetoric and reduced their support
for militants.
Unlike Saudi Arabia and some of its allies, Egypt has also repeatedly
expressed support for Syria's unity and the government of President
Bashar al-Assad.
Egypt condemned an April 14 missile attack by the US, Britain and
France against sites and research facilities near Damascus and Homs.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has said Cairo and Riyadh did
not share common views on the Syria crisis while Egyptian President
Abdul-Fattah el-Sisi stressed that he supported the Syrian army in its
war against terrorists.
Egypt sent a large delegation to the Damascus International Fair held on August 17-26, 2017.
Egyptian Charge d'Affaires in Damascus Muhammad Tharwat and the
delegation members stressed their support for the Syrian people and for
the Syrian government, and their desire for closer economic relations
and Egyptian participation in the rehabilitation of Syria.
In an interview with the Syrian government Al-Watan daily,
Tharwat said, "Egypt's participation in this year's Damascus
International Fair is natural given the character of the commercial
relations between the two countries. We hope that this participation
will play a part in restoring the economic relations between the two
countries, and that we will play a part in the re-building [of Syria]."
Tharwat stated that, throughout the Syria crisis, Egypt maintained
its neutrality and "the Egyptian Embassy continued to operate and did
not close following the decision of the Arab League, at the start of the
crisis, to recall the ambassadors [from Syria]... [True,] we decided to
downgrade relations to the level of charge d'affaires, [but] we are not
the only country that did that."
Also in November 2016, Egypt reportedly sent 18 helicopter pilots to
Syria to support the war-torn Arab nation in its fight against
terrorism. Cairo’s decision to play a role on the battlefield against
terrorists, including the Takfiri Daesh militant group, in Syria came
at a time when Egypt is also battling the Takfiri outfit’s branch at
home.
Militants have been leading a deadly campaign of violence against
both Egyptian security forces and civilians in Cairo and the restive
Sinai Peninsula.
Meanwhile, Jordan has also said only a political solution would guarantee the stability and the territorial integrity of Syria.
"Continued violence will only lead to more violence, conflict,
fighting and displacement whose victim is the Syrian people," Jordanian
government spokesman, Mohammad al-Momani, who is also minister of state
for media affairs and communications, said in a statement on April 14
carried by state-news agency Petra.
In a surprising change of tone, Israeli minister for military affairs
Avigdor Lieberman, who has a long history of hurling threats of doom
and destruction against Syria and President al-Assad, last week
expressed readiness to reopen the Quneitra border crossing with Syria in
the Golan Heights.
“We are ready to open the crossing as it was before, and now the ball
is in the Syrian court,” Lieberman told reporters as he toured the area
on Thursday.
Lieberman added that Israel never wanted conflict with Syria and was
ready to ensure a 1974 armistice agreement between the two sides is
strictly observed.
The Golan Heights is a Syrian territory, which Tel Aviv has been
occupying since 1967 and claims as its own territory despite
international criticism.
In August, the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF)
returned to the border between Syria and the occupied territories, four
years after it was shuttered due to militant attacks.
Lieberman’s comments come against the backdrop of Syria’s major
victories against terrorists, drawing an outlook for the country that is
far more different than what Tel Aviv and its allies had hoped for over
the past years.
The apparent call for de-escalation could also be a product of strained relations with Russia.
Ties between Israel and Russia spiraled down to historic lows last
week, after Israeli fighter jets pounding Syrian government targets
misled the Syrian air defenses into shooting down a Russian surveillance
plane by using it as a shield.
While the US and certain governments in the region have been cited as
supporters of Daesh and other anti-Assad militant groups, it is common
knowledge today that Israel has also had its fair share in helping the
terror outfits survive.
Throughout their battles, Syrian army forces have time and again
discovered Israeli weapons and equipment in large volumes from terrorist
hideouts. Israeli hospitals have also taken in some of the militants
injured in Golan areas.
The Israeli air force has carried out regular airstrikes against the
Syrian army and government targets across the country, a trend that
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claims are aimed at pushing
Iranian military advisers helping Damascus in its anti-terror fight out
of the country.
Moshe Ya’alon, Lieberman’s predecessor, admitted last
year that Tel Aviv had formed a tacit alliance with Daesh, saying the
group had "immediately apologized" to Tel Aviv after firing "once" into
Israel.
French President Emmanuel Macron in June said his country no longer
deems the removal of al-Assad as a precondition for resolving the
conflict in the Arab country.
"The new perspective that I have had on this subject is that I have
not stated that Bashar al-Assad's departure is a precondition for
everything because nobody has shown me a legitimate successor," said
Macron on June 21 in an interview published in several European
newspapers.
While noting that global cooperation is required to solve the crisis
in Syria, Macron stressed that Russia's cooperation is “especially
needed” to eradicate Daesh.
US Ambassador to United Nations Nikki Haley said
in March last year that the United States' diplomatic policy
on Syria for now is no longer focused on making al-Assad, leave power.
Syria has been gripped by unrest since 2011, when militancy first
began in the country. Foreign states opposed to President Assad have
since then been funding and providing weapons to anti-Assad militants,
among them thousands of paid foreign terrorists dispatched to help force
Assad out of power.
The Syrian government, however, has been fighting that militancy
back, aided in that battle by advisory military support from Iran and
Russia. Moscow has also been conducting an aerial campaign against
terrorist positions in the Arab country on a request by Damascus.
Syria has been struggling with foreign-backed militancy since 2011 in
a battle that has left large parts of the country in ruins, destroyed
most of its infrastructure and killed hundreds of thousands of people.
All in all, the sudden about-face more than anything else shows how
the Syrian government, with the help of its allies, has been able to
turn the tide against the foreign-backed militancy.
If the US cares as much about the concept of sovereignty as
President Donald Trump claims, it should stop interfering in the affairs
of other countries, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says.
Statements by top US
officials clearly show which country is actually interfering in the
affairs of other nations, Lavrov said during a press conference on the
sidelines of the UN General Assembly on Friday.
The foreign minister cited Kurt Volker, the US special representative for Ukraine, as an example. “It
would be fine if Volker talked about reconciliation in Ukraine. All he
talks about is how Russia is to blame for everything,” Lavrov said.
“And
then he takes the liberty of saying things like ‘Russian people deserve
freedom’ – that’s the US special representative for Ukraine speaking –
‘And the Ukrainian experience should inspire Russian people.’”
"You can probably figure out from this who is calling for meddling and who isn’t."

the US actually took seriously its own statements about countries
worldwide being sovereign, it would be a very welcome development, the
Russian foreign minister stated, reflecting on Trump’s speech at the UN

FRANKFURT AM MAIN (AFP) – German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday
warned U.S. President Donald Trump against “destroying” the United
Nations.
“I believe that destroying something without having developed
something new is extremely dangerous,” Merkel said at a regional
election campaign event in Bavaria.
The veteran leader — a close ally of Trump’s bugbear Barack Obama
while he was president — added that she believed multilateralism was the
solution to many of the world’s problems.
Trump failed to see the possibility for win-win solutions, she said,
instead seeing only one winner from any international negotiation.

attempted to carry out provocations with the use of chemical weapons in

Russian
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has warned Western countries against new
strikes on Syria. He also mentioned possible provocations with the use
of biological weapons, noting that constructive dialogue between Moscow
and Washington is needed in order to strengthen the non-proliferation
regime.
"There's an alarming situation regarding the
issue of chemical disarmament. First of all, this is in connection
with the actions of a number of Western states accusing the Syrian
authorities with more and more unsubstantiated allegations of using
banned chemical agents. We warn [the West] against new strikes on the
territory of the Syrian Arab Republic under another staged pretext,"
Lavrov said at a UN Security Council meeting.
Previously, US President Donald Trump stated that the US would respond
if chemical weapons are deployed by the Syrian government.
Earlier this year, a coalition, led by Washington, carried out a
series of airstrikes against Syrian forces following an alleged chemical
weapons attack by the government in the city of Douma. Damascus denied
the accusations, while Moscow stated that the whole attack was a false
flag operation, staged by anti-government militants.
The Israeli media is in a total frenzy over the forthcoming transfer to Syria of the Russian anti-aircraft missile system S-300. They recognize that these measures will lead to serious consequences for the Israeli Air Force.
However, as FRN notes, there is a less than even chance that Russia will not make good on the delivery, given its history with this question in the past, combined with patterns it has exhibited in the use of such announcements to win a concession from a third party.
But as the Jerusalem Post states , the appearance of the Syrian military S-300 will make it possible to modernize the air defense of the country profoundly and create a “threat to Israeli aircraft.”
Speaking about the shipments of the antiaircraft missile system, the Ninth Channel published an article with this headline: “In two weeks, Israel is in for a nightmare?”
In turn, the news daily Yediot Aharonot also admits that the deployment of the S-300 in Syria is really bad news for Israel, since it will require the Israeli Air Force “more effort, more planning and more caution when using force in the skies of Syria and Lebanon.”
According to Haaretz , the Russian S-300 in Syrian hands can jeopardize Israel’s activities in the region, so from now on it “will have to think twice before the next attack.”
The decision to supply the S-300 systems to Syria was made against the background of the incident with the crash of the Russian Il-20 plane on September 17. It was shot down by Syrian air defense systems through the fault of Israel, resulting in the death of 15 Russian soldiers.
As Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu expects, the S-300 in Syria will help cool the “hotheads” and deter against rash actions that threaten Russian servicemen.
S-300 “Favorit” anti-aircraft missile systems are designed for the defense of large industrial, administrative facilities and military bases. The first multichannel system, which is capable of accompanying each complex to six targets and aiming for them to twelve missiles.

Although the common view is that America’s main allies are European, that viewpoint is no longer true. Today’s America is allied mainly with the Sauds,
and with Israel, which latter is the Sauds’ chief lobbying arm both in
North America and in Europe, because Christian-majority populations are
far more sympathetic to Jews than to Moslems. For a politician to be
publicly sympathetic to Jews is much better for a politician than for
him/her to be publicly sympathetic to Muslims. So, Israel carries the
Sauds’ lobbying water, not only their own.
Follow Up — The Continued Blackout on West’s Secret Training & Support Camp in Turkey for War on Syria
12 days ago, on November 21, here at Boiling Frogs Post, I reported
on the ongoing joint US-NATO secret training camp in the US air force
base in Incirlik, Turkey, which began operations in April-May 2011 to
organize and expand the dissident base in Syria. I had received the
information for that story from multiple sources including highly
credible insiders in Turkey and government insiders here in the US…
I immediately started checking our infamous US mainstream media sites
— still nothing on this significant information. I then contacted one
of my high-level sources and asked why he had come to me with his
documented report instead of going directly to the big guys. With
several credible insiders as his corroborators and a high-level official
in Turkey, he would have no problem getting their attention. And his
response? Well here it is minus a few expletives:

We got them the info back in October. First they were interested and
drooling. At least the reporters. Then, they disappeared.”
I was the last resort. … This goes down as one more example of very
many cases of intentional, willful censorship by the US mainstream media
and their so-many-times-proven role as distorters of reality and
gravediggers of the truth.
Keeping the “MSM” on-board was likewise something that went back as far as the CIA’s “Operation Mockingbird”
had started in 1948 with the cooperation of all of the United States’
mainstream ‘news’-media, and of virtually all of the ‘alternative’

The corruptness of self-declared conservative ‘news’-media is
virtually automatic, since their chief function is to aggrandize the
aristocracy — doing that is what defines them; they are clearly doing
what they are paid to do, whereas the non-conservative media need to use
subterfuges to do it, in order for them to seem to be supportive of the
poor, which conservative media don’t even pretend to support.
Trump to U.N.: "We Reject the Ideology of Globalism"
Right and left, America’s ‘news’-media are loaded with rot —
especially regarding foreign countries, including Syria. Here are a few CIA documents from 2012 showing how obsequiously American ‘journalists’ respect and adhere to their CIA minders.
Aristocrats everywhere do business internationally and have much more
of a personal interest in foreign relations than does the average
person; so, lying about international relations is especially important
to them, in order to control the masses on these matters, matters which
aristocrats are especially determined to control. The aristocracy are
the people who determine which nations are “allies” and which nations
are “enemies.” The public don’t control that.
This is why the CIA, which is an agency of the U.S. aristocracy, has at least all of the mainstream ‘news’-media trumpeting their lies
on foreign affairs. Aristocrats control their country’s foreign
policies. Their international corporations demand this control, and tell
the politicians what to do in foreign matters. The ‘news’-media provide
the back-up for the politicians’ lies.
They’re all on the same team, the aristocracy’s team.
They all are agents for the aristocracy, against the public — and not
only against whichever foreign aristocracies are labeled “enemy”
nations (i.e., as being suitable targets for the given aristocracy’s
military — places where the U.S. aristocracy’s weapons-manufacturing
corporations such as Lockheed Martin don’t sell their wares but instead
upon which those wares are to be used, as targets, the opposite end of
the international weapons-trade from the “allies,” which are the
markets-side, instead of the targets-side).
International relations is relations between aristocracies. The publics are ignored.
So, if democracy exists anywhere or at all, then it exists only in
regards to domestic issues. However, studies have shown that even on
domestic issues, the U.S. Government ignores the U.S. public — the U.S.
is totally an aristocracy; it’s no democracy at all, not even on domestic issues, such as Medicare-for-all.
That’s the reason why Sibel Edmonds found herself to be a “last
resort.” That was a euphemism referring actually to a dead-end for the
important news — for the type of news that would have contradicted the
Obama Administration’s infamous joyous lie-based “We came, we saw, he died!” (the Libya case), and now the follow-on invasion and destruction of Syria.
Trump continues Obama’s aggressions; he doesn’t end them. It doesn’t
make much difference whom the occupant of the White House is, at least
not regarding foreign relations, because the same aristocracy remains in
control of U.S. foreign relations, even though that might be a
different faction of this aristocracy — Obama representing the liberal
billionaires, and Trump representing some of the conservative ones, but
they are different segments of the same aristocracy; nobody in such a
Government represents the public.
Here’s how psychopathic the U.S.-and allied aristocracies are:
Both were there using their being heads-of-state so as to assist not
only their own wealth but America’s and Europe’s aristocracies to steal
and sell oil and oil-well equipment from the Syrian public — from
Syrians’ Government — for the benefits not only of those aristocrats but
also of Al Qaeda and of ISIS (two jihadist groups trying to overthrow
Syria’s Government).
As Syrian News reported this, on 28 November 2012, “Emir of Qatar & Muslim Brotherhood Prime Minister of Turkey send their Al Qaeda FSA
terrorists to Syria to destroy the country, kill the people and destroy
whatever they can of its infrastructure so their companies would have
jobs in the future to rebuild as they think they will win the war
against Syria.”
Syrians stood by each oppressed nation in the planet, all liberation
movements from the colonial powers had their main offices in Syria,
including South African anti-apartheid party…this is how the colonial
powers revenge.
It is beyond kafkaesque to
realize that virtually the entire world chants its enmity against the
Syrian people, and their country, and that the rest have not even
noticed.
On 2 September, “greatest psy op of the last century,” al Jazeera,
degraded a photo of a drowned Syrian boy, into an emoticon, to use for a
new round of imperial malfeasance against the SAR [that being an
acronym for Syria’s Government]. It seems to be of no importance, that
al Jazeera (renamed “al Khanzeera,” “the pigsty,” by Libyan patriots,
during the destruction of their country), is owned by the absolute
monarchy Qatar — “pronounced ‘gutter’”), the little Gulfie gas station
that has spent over 3 billion dollars in looting and bombing Syria.
Twenty-four hours later, a Google search of “drowned Syrian boy”
yielded over 10 million ‘hits’ (a number which has jumped to over 14
million, 48 hours later), reports which neglect to mention there was no
Syrian refugee crisis before the mass-murderers of the colonial powers,
and their Levant and Gulfie rabid dogs decided to “arab spring” Syria…
On Sunday, 23 August, the city of Damascus came under massive mortar and missile attacks
by the Obama-Cameron moderate death squads. Seven days later, the
Syrian Arab Army [Syrian Government’s Army] Facebook page posted the
following:
“The city of Damascus had 4.5 to 5 million inhabitants in 2011. Today
and due to the war there are over 8.5 million inhabitants in the city;
most of which were forced outside of their homes by the “moderate
rebels” backed by NATO in general specifically the U.S. Turkey and
France; also backedand financed by the terrorist nations of the Gulf…

that several of the dead Syrians were recognized as having been
kidnapped in Latakia countryside (similarly, the hyenas were too sedated
to report on the moment long awaited, when 58 Syrian women and their children abductees were released in exchange for imprisoned terrorists of al Qaeda)…
On 21 February, UN High Commissioner on Human Rights [sic] Zeid Ra’ad
al Husseini frothed at the mouth over the “monstrous annihilation” in
Eastern Ghouta. He tossed words like international humanitarian law,
and war crimes about [against the Government].
That article has a lengthy section which opens:

Animals running in packs require leadership. Who is better qualified
to lead beasts known to take advantage of other animals’ kills for easy
prey, devouring every part including bones, than the well-manicured and
polished diplomats of the United Nations?
All of that is true, and it even understates the reality. For
example, though the article documents that Jordan, next door to Syria,
is a key part of America’s effort to overthrow Assad, it fails to note
that Zeid Ra’ad al Husseini, that cited high U.N. official on Syria, is a
Jordanian Prince.
He’s doing what the royal family of Jordan do. Otherwise, that article
is an excellent description of the U.N.
Administration’s extreme
prejudices in favor of the U.S. game-plans for conquest, especially for
their conquest of Syria.
In possession of a diplomatic telegram [TD], Pan Arabic al Akhbar gave a detailed report 24 February on the nefarious, colonialist plot:
In a somewhat familiar but precise English, Benjamin Norman – a
diplomat in charge of the Middle East at the British Embassy in
Washington – reports in a confidential diplomatic telegram of the first
meeting of the “Small American Group on Syria” (United States, Great
Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and Jordan), held in Washington on January
11, 2018.
In this five-page TD, he reveals the details of the “Western
strategy” in Syria: partition of the country, sabotage of Sochi, framing
of Turkey and instructions to the UN Special Representative Staffan de
Mistura who leads the negotiations of Geneva. A Non Paper (8 pages)
accompanies this TD in anticipation of the second meeting of the “Small
Group”. It was held in Paris on January 23, mainly devoted to the use of
chemical weapons and the “instructions” sent by the “Small American
Group” to Staffan de Mistura.
The U.N. envoy for Syria warned Friday that all the
ingredients exist for a “perfect storm” of a humanitarian catastrophe if
the Syrian government, backed by Russia, carries out a large-scale
military offensive on the northwestern province of Idlib.
“The dangers are profound that any battle for Idlib could be — would
be — a horrific and bloody battle,” Staffan de Mistura told U.N.
Security Council members via videoconference. “Civilians are its
potential victims.”
Idlib has consistently been showing as being, by far, the
most-pro-jihadist of all of Syria’s Governates, in the annual polls that
the British polling organization, Orb International, has taken since
2014, throughout Syria. Idlib has been showing there as being over 90%
in favor of jihadists and of jihadism — and specifically in favor of
organizations such as Al Qaeda and ISIS.
Staffan de Mistura and Prince Husseini refer to this matter as
instead a “humanitarian catastrophe” if Syria, Russia, and Hezbollah, do
what they will need to do in order to end the invasion of Syria by
U.S., Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE, Kuwait, and Israel (and the jihadists
they hire).
The U.N. officials are treating this matter not as a thoroughly
illegal invasion and military occupation of the sovereign nation of
Syria, but instead as what will be a “humanitarian catastrophe” if Syria
and its allies attack the area of Syria whose current residents are
over 90% jihadists and supporters of jihadists. Syria and its allies are
to be blamed for invading that jihadist cauldron, while U.S. and its
allies are to be held immune from prosecution for their having used
those jihadists, during the past 7 years — used them to invade and
occupy not only Idlib but other parts of Syria.
Thus, the U.N. is not only holding U.S. Presidents and other
international invaders above international law, but it is now positively
assisting them under the fake rubric of “humanitarian” concerns, so as
to support the U.S. alliance’s invasions and military occupations. The
U.N., which was supposed to have been opposing international aggression
is now assisting it when ‘the right leaders’ do it.
This is no organization supporting democracy — it is the opposite: an
international scheme to back the U.S. alliance’s invasions and military
occupations. War is ugly. Apparently, the U.N. has become even uglier
than that — supporting the invaders and military occupiers of a
sovereign nation.
This is the reason why Syria and its allies have placed on-hold
their planned elimination of the jihadists in Idlib and will create a
DMZ between Idlib and the adjoining areas of Syria. Further details and
context on that can be seen here. Perhaps now, the high U.N. officials who have been claiming that the elimination of those jihadists would produce a “humanitarian catastrophe” will change their tunes and publicly acknowledge that it would instead be a practical necessity.
On September 17, I posted my column, “Evidence is no longer a Western
value.” I used as an example the blame that has been put on Russia for
the shot down Malaysian airliner. No evidence whatsoever exists for
the accusation, and massive evidence has been presented that the
airliner was shot down by the neonazis that seized power as a result of
the Washington-organized coup in Ukraine.
Blame was fixed on Russia not by any evidence but by continuous
evidence-free accusations that began the moment the airliner was shot
down. Anyone who asked for evidence was treated as a “Putin apologist.”
This took evidence out of the picture.
Wherever we look in these times, we see evidence-free accusations
established as absolute facts: Saddam Hussein’s “weapons of mass
destruction,” “Iranian nukes,” “Russian invasion of Ukraine,” the
Trump/Putin conspiracy that stole the 2016 US presidential election,
Syrian use of poison gas. Not a scrap of evidence exists for any of
these accusations, but the truth of the accusations is established in
many minds worldwide.
Science gave the world the principle of evidence-based fact, which
did away with the burning of witches and political decisions based in
superstitution. Truth became a force.
But truth can get in the way of agendas, and as elites recovered
their power from the social, political, and economic reforms of a
previous era, truth was divided into categories and cut so fine that it
disappeared. For the elite truth became identical to their economic
interests, and Identity Politics stripped truth of its universal
meaning and reduced truth to self-pleading race and gender truth.
The result is that today truth is established not by evidence but by repetition of accusations and falsehoods.
This made it easy to destroy people and countries by lies alone. Who
remembers Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the head of the International
Monetary Fund and at the time the likely future president of France?
Strauss-Kahn was out of step with Washington which wanted its puppet
Sarkozy reelected. Strauss-Kahn came to New York and was accused by a
hotel maid of sexual assault. He was arrested and jailed. The New York
district attorney and media whores pronounced him guillty.

Simultaneously, on cue, a French woman made the same claim. Case
closed. No evidence. Just claims. Then it emerged that the hotel maid
had just had very large sums of money far above her income level
deposited to her bank account. Even more damning, it was revealed that
Sarkozy knew of Strauss-Kahn’s arrest before the police announced it.
The case fell apart, and the New York district attorney publicly
apologized. But Strauss-Kahn had been forced to resign as Director of
the IMF and was out of the French presidential election. So Washington
won.
Today it is a common, routine tactic for both US political parties to
produce a woman to bring accusations of sexual harassment, abuse, or
assault against any heterosexual male appointee or nominee that either
party regards to be out of step with its agenda. It happens so
regularly that no sentinent person can possibly believe the woman.
Sexual assault has been reduced to one of the dirty tricks of politics.
As hard as false accusations can be on individuals, they destroy
entire countries. Just consider the destruction of Afghanistan, Iraq,
Libya, currently Yemen, and Washington has not given up on the same fate
for Syria and Iran. Based on nothing but Washington’s endlessly
repeated false accusations, millions of peoples have been murdered,
maimed, orphened, widowed, displaced, and sent as refugees overrunning
Europe.
There is not a scrap of evidence anywhere that justifies Washington’s
enormous crimes against humanity. Yet, these crimes that in a
truth-conscious world would have resulted in several entire governments
of the United States standing accused in the International Criminal
Court, or the War Crimes Court, or whichever court, and perhaps in all
of them, are ignored, because accusation alone against the destroyed
countries and peoples sufficed to justify Washington’s war crimes
against humanity.
What I have described is a truth-free world. There is no place for
truth in the world that the West has created. The Western hostility to
truth is overwhelming. As I write truth-tellers are being banned from
Facebook, Twitter, and PayPal. Google makes their sites almost
impossible to find. Throughout the Western World truth has been
redefined as “Conspiracy Theory.”
Elites such as George Soros and innumerable tax-financed government
agencies, such as the National Endowment for Democracy, spend taxpayers’
money discrediting those who tell the truth. Many in governments want
truth-tellers locked up as enemies of the state, by which they mean
“enemies of the self-interests of the ruling elites.”
You don’t need to believe me. Here are four books written by
honorable persons, meticulously documented, full of evidence that make
it clear that American elites have no respect whatsoever for truth.
Truth is something that is in their way.
One of the books is Charlie Savage’s Takeover. Savage shows
how Dick Cheney used the George W. Bush regime and 9/11 to destroy the
separation of powers and the civil liberties in the US Constitution.
When you read Savage’s book you will discover that the America that you
think is here is not here. In its place is a dictatorship available to
any president clever enough to use it. Savage’s book is one of the best
pieces of investigative reporting that I have read.
The Roman system of government never recovered from Caesar crossing
the Rubicon. I doubt that the US Constitution will ever recover from
Dick Cheney.
Two of the books are by David Ray Griffin, one of the last and most determined of American protagonists for truth. In his book, Bush and Cheney: How They Ruined America and the World,
Griffin makes, a decade after Savage, the same case against Dick
Cheney. When two independently minded researchers reach the same
conclusion, you can bet it is on the money. If the world survives
Washington’s orchestrated conflict with Russia, Cheney will go down in
history as the person who destroyed American constitutional government.
In this same book, Griffin also examines the official 9/11 story and
exposes it as a total fabrication with no connection to any truth
whatsoever. He takes up this case in his current, just released book
with Elizabeth Woodworth, 9/11 Unmasked: An International Review Panel Investigation.
Anyone who is still brainwashed by the official 9/11 story can
immediately free themselves from their deception by reading this book.
There is no longer any doubt that 9/11 was an inside orchestrated event
for the purpose of unleashing two decades, with more to come, of
American aggression in the Middle East.
Griffin does not leave a single official statement about 9/11
standing as not a single official claim is based on any factual evidence
whatsoever.
For seventeen years the world has been fed a pack of total lies based
on nothing but accusations and in the face of massive evidence produced
not by some collection of political hacks sitting as a 9/11 Commission,
but by thousands of experts. Yet for seventeen years false accusations
prevailed over heavily documented facts presented by disinterested
experts called “conspiracy theorists” by those intent on covering up
their crimes.
The fourth book is Mary Mapes’ Truth and Duty. Mary Mapes
is the CBS producer whose team carefully prepared for Dan Rather the 60
Minutes report on George W. Bush’s failure to perform his Texas Air
National Guard duty. Her story was absolutely correct, but she and
Rather were destroyed by accusation alone. The Republicans set in
attack mode the right-wing bloggers, and soon the official media joined
in for the purpose of elevating their ratings at CBS’s expense.
CBS was vulnerable, because it was no longer independent but a part
of Viacom’s empire. Mapes was already in trouble, because she had broken
the Abu Ghraib torture story just at the moment that Bush and Cheney
declared: “America doesn’t torture.” As the Cheney/Bush regime put
pressure on Viacom, a corporate executive told Mapes: “You don’t have
any idea how many millions of dollars Viacom is spending on lobbying in
Wasington, and nothing you’ve done in the past year has helped.”
There you have it. The Viacom executives had no interest whatsoever
in the truth, only in what advanced their lobbying interests in
Washington. Mapes, a truth-teller had to go, and she did. And so did
Dan Rather.
Today in America no member of the print and TV media or NPR dares to
get within a hundred miles of the truth. It would be a career-ending
event.
Without a media dedicated to truth, there can be no control over government.
Ask yourselves where you can read articles like this. If you do not
support the remaining portals of truth, you will find yourselves bound,
like the Elven-kings, Dwarf-lords and Mortal Men in J.R.R. Tolkien’s
Lord of the Rings, “in the darkness” by the elites’ ability to control
the explanations that comprise your reality.
Identity Politics has destroyed the very conception of truth
independent of race and gender. Science itself becomes discredited as

Those behind the terrorist attack at the Ahvaz military parade
will face “unforgettable vengeance,” Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said,
as Tehran persists in accusing Washington and its regional allies of
orchestrating the assault.
Up to 29 people were
killed and more than 60 others injured after gunmen fired
indiscriminately at the crowd during a military parade in the
southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz on Saturday. Several terrorist groups
and the separatist ‘Patriotic Arab Democratic Movement in Ahwaz’ have
claimed responsibility for the attack; all four gunmen were killed in
the ensuing stand-off.
Now the influential Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) says it
knows who organized the attack, while adding they are willing to pursue
the attackers “regionally and beyond.” “Considering
[the Guards’] full knowledge about the centers of deployment of the
criminal terrorists’ leaders... they will face a deadly and
unforgettable vengeance in the near future,” the IRGC said in a statement Sunday.
The
senior IRGC commanders said that the militants that carried out the
attack were trained by the Gulf states and were ultimately backed by the
US.
Tehran has, meanwhile, openly blamed the US and its allies in the Middle East for backing the attackers. Washington seeks to “create chaos and turmoil” in Iran so that the US can “take charge”
of the Islamic Republic, the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on
Sunday, before leaving for New York to attend a UN General Assembly
meeting.
“The Persian Gulf states are providing monetary, military and political support for these groups,” he added, while accusing the US of being “the sponsor of all these small mercenary countries in the region.” At the same time, he said that Iran’s response to “these crimes” will be “within the framework of law.” Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, also called the attack a “continuation of the plots of the regional states that are puppets of the United States.”
Washington has denied all the accusations and said that the incident has become the result of the Iranian government’s “oppressive” policies.
“He can blame us all he wants. The thing he’s got to do is look at the mirror,” the US envoy to the UN, Nikki Haley told CNN’s ‘State of the Union,’ referring to Rouhani. She also said that Washington “is not looking to do regime change in Iran” or “anywhere” else.
Her words came just a day after the US presidential lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said that the Iranian government will be toppled. “I don’t know when we’re going to overthrow them … but it’s going to happen,” he told the members of Iranian expat and dissident communities in the US at a so-called ‘Iran Uprising Summit’.

That event was held on the day of the deadly attack in Ahvaz. The US
State Department, however, rushed to distance itself from Giuliani’s
comments, stating that Donald Trump’s personal lawyer does not speak for
the administration.
Meanwhile, Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS)
which earlier claimed responsibility for the incident, released a video
that purports to show the alleged assailants planning to carry out the
attack. The authenticity of the footage cannot be independently
verified.
